I'm succumbing to the blog ... After spending 40 minutes trying to figure
out the mechanics of posting, I'm handing over technical control to the
hubby and letting Bobby post this for me. I figure it just gives me more
room to learn and grow ....

LE BEBE
Speaking of growing, the bebe armijo is at 14 weeks and 5 days. Growing a
baby is a trippy experience. Besides worrying about every ache and pain,
managing the bed rest thing is interesting, especially for a control freak
like me. Letting go and letting God (I know I'm chock full of corny
cliches, but apropos none the less) has been a really soothing experience
for me.

TV PAUSE - Why is that lady having her baby in a maroon birthing tub wearing
an orange bikini top?? Come on people, not only are you on TV exposing your
stuff to the TLC channel and me (ok fine, I am watching it after all) but
you're not even color coordinated.....

DAILY MUSINGS
Why is Bobby so amazing? Last night he was so fabulous, honest but
fabulous, about coming home to find my aunt still here working on her son,
Christian's, family tree report at 11:30 pm ... Family helping family ...
what canya do? Another super-fab thing I can't quite get over. $40 brownie
platter (not for me, for something else. But he did remember to bring me a
couple of treats too). He's amazing and teaches me lessons without even
meaning to. He's the best......

DOGGY PAUSE - So funny that Belle has dreams and woofs in her sleep. She's
one of my biggest source of entertainment since I've been home.

CHIT CHAT
This week has been great for friends checking up on us. Talked to Brian,
Julie B, and Veronica from work. Aunt Rhonda called and we talked about her
prep for Johnnie's big wedding in Texas. Chatted with Joyce yesterday and
missed Shy's call. Gotta call her and Pia soon!

And of course, Nay's been over here hanging out, keeping me entertained and
vegging out from her hectic life. And the flowers and HOME BAKED cookies
from Momma and Papa Wong are way super yum. Talk about God filling your
needs for the smallest things. I've been craving cookies, not just any
cookies, but home baked ones since Sunday. And since I can't bake, I didn't
wanna bug Bobby about it but POOF here they are and they are
scrum-dilly-umcious....

Called my buddy Heather yesterday and had a really good chat with her. Her
baby's due in a few weeks, and she's such a blessing to me. We had a good
time sharing how God continues to amaze and astound each of us... and how
he's such a comfort during this time. Honestly, who knew I'd take this
bedrest time with such patience and perserverance. Whatever it takes - as
Joyce says it's all worth it!!

Miss talking to Lu, but digging her travel logs from abroad. Makes me think
fondly of our own past trips. Funny how travel had been something that I
had previously defined myself with. Bobby and I take trips. That's what we
do. Now we're taking off on the whole parenting adventure and jumping
whole-heartedly into our lives and living them as they're meant to be,
blessed in Christ and each other.

Whoah a bit heavy for my first foray into blogging, but it is what it is.
Off to my day deciding how much HGTV is too much for one person to handle,
and whether or not I can stretch those homemade cookies to last more than
two days .....
