Naturally, i figured out of the 4 of us i was the best looking and would therefore get served better. occassionally at starbucks when they ask for my name i will tell them “G.L.” you would think people would ask “what does “G.L.” stand for?”
you may even be asking yourself what does “G.L.” stand for? but they don’t cause they know; and i know they know; thats why i wink if they are unconvinced at first blush. to remind them they know. tambien TIVO is the bump. i realize i am the latest on this, but i was forced under threat of: erasing quentin tarantino on conan, by my tivo. oh so we went to sterling, v.sattui, and niebaum coppola wine was drank and cheese was eaten it was a delightful time and with delightful persons i enjoyed myself immensely. thanks y’all

his thumb, that is
the last little bit of time has come in chunks
it’s strange but good to be so cut off from the world
its weird to me that i constantly change as quickly
as life delivers it twists and turns.
you know, a friend of mine once accused me of not being able to change.
anyway jobless bob is not worthless BOB regardless of what you say or infer.
third world mfs. (big shout to vic maog (life coach, j/p)
thanks
so i am happy!
i am a doting father probably over doting but W.
point being i went to macworld and was treated nicely on bart, nicely by a kind gentleman who gave me free passes to get in as i walked, treated nicely by the alfonso brothers, but i was refused entry to the event because it wasn’t open yet.
we had arrived at 9 finished all of our processing and what not about 9:30.
we tried to enter the floor
door person: 11 (arm stretched out in front of me, so as to prevent me from entering)
me: excuse me? do you mean it opens at 11?
door person: yes (giving me a troubled look because of the courtesy forced on him, or if not courtesy, then being forced to finish his sentence)
so i turned to the alfonsos and suggested breakfast.
they agreed. we bandied about our merry way until i was passing the place where the keynote was taking place, and i noticed the entrance was lacking of tough looking security. actually no moscone security was there it was only apple people. so i thought to myself i bought a powerbook this year. i deserve to see steve speak on apple and what was coming. so i WALKED UP THOSE STAIRS and stared that apple dude down. then i walked real fast so I didn’t give him no chance to talk or anything, also i put my exhibit pass in my pocket. WOW exhilirating! they introduced garage band and i will buy it on the 16th.
the alfonsos and i have a song contest in the offing so don’t be surprised if you see some of my personally made mp3s showing up here they’ll probably be rap (you know “kill whitey, smoke dope, stab a mexican in the back” my dad’s idea of rap music) or possibly electronic, or if the guitars are as easy to program as they say some rock and roll music probably in the weezer/ozma style. there is a lot more not all fit for public consumption.
also weekend b4 that i saw chris rock! he was good. funny, insightful, and correct.
sorrry will wirte more soon just feeling carzy and depressed right now talk soon.
later,

Funny how time flies! Ryan is 3 months and a week old. (I never could get into that thing where parent’s count baby age in weeks.) Anyway, he’s doing so well, at 14 lbs and 9 oz he’s more than doubled his birth weight. After our doc appt on Friday both Bobby and my chests were puffed up with pride and happiness. Doc said that Ry is off the charts for weight and height and just right in head size. But the best news is that he’s advanced for his age. He’s doing all these cutey things that he shouldn’t be doing until he’s at least 4 months old, and we had to brag a little bit about what a good kiddly he’s been.
Ry is just a joy of a baby, and Bobby and I are blessed to have such a good kid. I’ve heard some stories, and we are lucky, lucky lucky! Not to mention my dad always has to mention that I had colic as a baby and what a nightmare that was for them. But baby Ry is so responsive and happy, he started cooing and gurgling happy noises about two weeks ago so that if you catch him during his “prime time” he will laugh and smile back at you and make a couple of his favorite sounds: Ghaooooooooo or Hayhiiiiiiii, cccccccccccccccc, Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. Oh gosh, it’s the best feeling in the world to see his eyes sparkling up at you, mouth wide open and little arms doing a little chicken dance.
My mother in law calls this time the honeymoon period. From 3 – 7 months she says are the best because the baby does stuff, but not too much stuff. He can play with you, but still sleeps a good amount. He moves his arms and legs but isn’t trying to crawl over everything everywhere. He likes other people and isn’t afraid to hang out with grandma and grandpa or assorted uncles and aunts. And the sleep thing is getting better. He only gets up once a night and is pretty content to eat and go back to sleep. The mornings are the hardest for me, especially Monday mornings since we snuggle up and feed at 5 or 6 am, and then I have to haul my butt to work.
It’s amazing to see how much you learn and grow as a parent in three little months. Talking with our friend who just had a baby and is coming out of that first month fog, made me remember how hard every single one of those days were. And that’s with a good baby! But it gets easier and funner!
Anyway – just a little note since I haven’t blogged in a while. Too busy hanging out with the kid!
